Michael Angelini, PharmD, is currently assistant professor in the Department
of Pharmacy Practice at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences,
where he also is coordinator of the Advanced Pharmacotherapeutics Neurology
and Psychiatry Module. He maintains an outpatient psychopharmacology practice
with the VA Boston Healthcare System in Boston.
Dr. Angelini earned his undergraduate and master's degrees in psychology from
Boston University and his undergraduate and doctorate of pharmacy degrees from
Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. He completed his pharmacy practice residency
at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester.
Dr. Angelini has been the recipient of the Phi Lambda Sigma Leadership Award.
He has been a member of a depression disease management team, which has authored
clinical guidelines for the treatment of depression and provides training programs.
Dr. Angelini is on faculty at multiple Boston area institutions and lectures
on psychopharmacology. He also regularly presents CE programs.
He is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and Rho
Chi Honor Society. Research and areas of interest include long-term outcomes
and care of people with depression and schizophrenia.
