Roger J. Cadieux, MD is clinical professor of psychiatry in the Department
of Psychiatry at Penn State University College of Medicine at Hershey, and a
fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He also is the physician consultant
to the Pennsylvania Department of Aging.
Dr. Cadieux received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School
of Medicine, Shreveport, and completed a residency in psychiatry at Penn State
University College of Medicine.
He has participated in the National Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA)
Advisory Committee for applying Drug Use Review (DUR) in the Medicare/Medicaid
population, and is an active member of the Therapeutic Advisory Committee of
the Pennsylvania - Pharmaceutical Assistance Contract for the Elderly (PACE).
He also serves as an editor, writer, and reviewer of geriatric and psychiatric
publications.
As a practicing geriatric psychiatrist, Dr. Cadieux focuses on developing consultative
and educational programs which enhance the care of the elderly for professionals
who interact with this age group.
