The Clinical Research and Evaluation Facility at the Nathan S. Kline Institute
for Psychiatric Research is a 24-bed, specialized in-patient research unit operated
as a joint venture between the Nathan Kline Institute and Rockland Psychiatric
Center, and affiliated with New York University, including their Residency Training
Program. Dr. Citrome is involved as Principal Investigator, Co-Investigator,
and Collaborator on a number of ongoing projects centering on psychopharmaceutical
approaches to schizophrenia, including new and novel medications, management
of treatment refractory schizophrenia, and the management of aggressive and
violent behavior. Dr. Citrome is also an active member of the Medication Utilization
and Outcomes Research Program.
