Dan Diamond, MD serves as assistant clinical professor for the University of
Washington School of Medicine and maintains a private practice in Silverdale,
Wash. He attended the University of Washington School of Medicine before completing
his residency in family practice in Milwaukee.
The American Academy of Family Physicians awarded Dr. Diamond the AAFP Degree
of Fellow, and he received his board certification from the American Board of
Family Physicians. He recently was selected to be part of a national team of
physicians trained to update providers on current concepts in psychopharmacology.
Dr. Diamond has been a national keynote speaker discussing such topics as "The
Impact of Depression on Learning." In 1998 he was awarded the JC Penney
Golden Rule Award recognizing outstanding community service for his work teaching
gifted children in the public schools. Other community activities include founding
and directing a disaster response team affiliated with the State of Washington
that has responded to a variety of international disasters.
