Claire S. Duvernoy, MD, is currently Assistant Professor, Division of Cardiology
at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She also serves as Director of the Cardiac
Catheterization Laboratory at the V.A. Medical Center in Ann Arbor.
Dr. Duvernoy earned her undergraduate degree in French Literature at Yale University
in New Haven, Connecticut and then received her MD from University of Michigan
Medical School. Internal Medicine Internship/Residency as well as Clinical Cardiology
and Interventional Cardiology Fellowships were completed at the University of
Michigan. Dr. Duvernoy also was an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow at
the Technical University of Munich in Germany. She has been the recipient of
the Fulbright Junior Research Award (declined) as well as the Alexander von
Humboldt Stiftung Research Award. Dr. Duvernoy is a Principal Investigator or
Co-Investigator in several key clinical trials as well as an invited presenter
at numerous medical conferences, both nationally and internationally.
As author or co-author, Dr. Duvernoy's work, has been published in many leading
medical journals, including the Journal of Interventional Cardiology,
Journal of Nuclear Cardiology, and the Journal of the American College
of Cardiology. She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and
a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
Research and clinical interests include: Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear
Cardiology, and Women's Cardiovascular Health Issues.
