Products & Services

Optima offers various products and services designed to help clinicians and other professionals earn CME/CE credits through ACCME guidelines. The method of learning that clinicians can choose depends solely on their learning style and schedule. Whichever type of program is chosen, you can count on Optima to deliver the highest quality education. Our programs are composed of information on the latest pharmaceutical breakthroughs and FDA indications. Our faculty of world-renowned experts speak on medical advancements in areas of particular interest.

In most instances, participation in our programs allows clinicians to earn CME/CE credit. The majority of our educational programs are jointly sponsored by established, accredited organizations.

Meetings

Optima is a premier provider of medical education meetings designed to present the most up-to-date critical information to clinicians and other healthcare professionals. Our speakers are thought leaders who not only have comprehensive expertise in their respective fields, but they are also practicing clinicians who see patients on a regular basis. Our guests are not just attendees, but real participants. Real world experience combined with the highest quality education creates the Optima difference.

  • Dinner Meetings - Regional, interactive, face-to-face meetings held during the week where clinicians enjoy dinner at a centrally located premier venue. These meetings provide ample opportunities for questions and answers with speakers and other participants.
  • Half-day Meetings - Regional, interactive, face-to-face meetings, which include a continental breakfast and other refreshments. Opportunities exist for open dialog with colleagues in a similar venue to that conducted at Optima dinner meetings.

Enduring Materials (Publishing and Multimedia):

The Optima approach to publishing and multi-media goes beyond simply producing content. Our team of professionals work to develop relevant productions that dig deep into the needs of clinicians with relevant and interesting topics.

  • Newsletters – Regular publications designed to provide clinicians with the latest breaking news in medicine.
  • Critical BreakthroughsTM Newsletters – Scheduled publications designed to provide clinicians in various disciplines with late-breaking medical news.
  • Interactive CD-ROMs - Interactive technology that allows clinicians to learn via the computer. Meeting information, publications, and other information is presented.
  • Audiocassettes - An individual tape or series of tapes, recording interviews of select physicians or of a live meeting.
  • Audio CDs – Another tool for the busy professional. Audio CDs allow clinicians to access latest medical information.
  • Videocassettes - A videotape recording of a meeting or a select physician that allows clinicians to learn by combining audio and video.
  • Clinical RoundsTM Video Series – Reality based 60-minute video in a real world setting. A clinician interviews a patient and presents the case to a host panel. Together they discuss treatment options. The video then follows the patient over the course of several weeks. The host panel consists of world-renowned experts.
